Ehud Olmert
Ehud Olmert served as the 12th prime minister of Israel from 2006 to 2009 and before that as a cabinet minister from 1988 to 1992 and from 2003 to 2006. Between his first and second stints as a cabinet member, he served as mayor of Jerusalem from 1993 to 2003.
Nasser Al-Kidwa
Nasser Al-Kidwa served as the PLO/Palestine Observer to the United Nations from 1991 to 2005. In 2005, he become the Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority. Later he was appointed as Deputy Head of the UN LAS Joint Special Mission for Syria under Kofi Annan. He also served as the Arab League’s Special Envoy to Libya and played a key role bringing Palestine’s case against Israel’s Wall to the International Court of Justice in 2003-2004. In July 2024, he and Mr. Ehud Olmert finalized a joint proposal for a political solution.
