Michael S. Roth
Michael S. Roth has served as the 16th president of Wesleyan University since July 1, 2007. Roth, who earned his BA at Wesleyan and his Ph.D. in history from Princeton University, held positions including president of the California College of Arts, associate director of the Getty Research Institute, and director of European Studies at Claremont Graduate University. Roth has written and edited many books and countless essays and articles. In April 2025, Roth authored a guest essay in The New York Times titled “Trump is Selling Jews a Dangerous Lie,” where he criticized the Trump administration’s approach to combating antisemitism.

Patt Morrison
Patt Morrison has a share of two Pulitzer Prizes as a longtime Los Angeles Times writer and columnist. As a public television and radio broadcaster, she has won six Emmys and a dozen Golden Mike awards. Her first book, “Rio LA,” about the Los Angeles River, was a bestseller. Her most recent book is, “Don’t Stop the Presses! Truth, Justice, and the American Newspaper.”
